The inscription reads: “Enter His gates with thanksgiving, into His courts with praise, thank him, bless His name. (Psalm 100:4) Solomon ben Japhet, may God be with him and bless him."

Solomon was the brother of Obadiah ben Japhet referred to in the portion of the second inscription now in London.
