The framed carving reads: "...a just reward from God, His deliverer. Such is the generation of those who turn to Him." [Psalm 24:5-6] The small size of the panel and the reference to "a just reward," which can be translated "charity" in other contexts, suggest that this inscription once formed part of a cabinet for donations.
