Trilobe arrowheads were a standard missile of the Persian army, and their use in the Levant probably diffused from Iran. It has been suggested that the use of bronze made the mass production of these weapons possible, because they could be cast quickly in molds rather than hand-wrought, as is necessary for iron products.
