František Mořic Na’gl painted a large cycle of watercolors and gouaches depicting scenes of Theresienstadt’s courtyards. He also illustrated the crowded barracks, where prisoners slept in triple-stacked bunks. One of the older artists in the camp, Na’gl had studied at the the School for Applied Art and at the Academy of Art in Prague.
