Recorded by Dr. Joseph Weiss, former political prisoner and camp clerk.

This ledger records in German the names of 3,478 men, women, and children who arrived at Dachau's Work Camp No. 3 between July 1944 and April 1945, when the camp was liberated. Of the prisoners listed, only 11 survived. Each entry gives the prisoner’s identification number and eventual fate, as well as his or her name, date of birth, profession, and prisoner category.
