The Bezalel carpet workshop produced rugs whose sizes ranged from small mats to room-size carpets. Divided to three sections, spinning, dyeing, and weaving, the carpet workshop produced rugs with typical "Oriental rug" features, like the abrash seen here. Abrash occurs when differences in wool or dye batches cause variations in color, usually seen in horizontal bands.
