That this is a messianic view of the rebuilt Temple is indicated by the verse at bottom: But in the end of days,.... the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established (Micah 4:1). The imagined building is based on the Mosque of Omar on the Temple Mount, with imagined arcades on each side. Two large palm trees border the central image and a stylized menorah is in the border above the dome.
